I'm looking in the Avid Store. I'm trying to get them to upgrade from 2.6 to
4 as well. I see the $395 download and the $495 box, but no where does it
say that the third party software is included with the box. I do see that
there is also a $180 separate purchase of just the third party software if
you've bought the $395 download.

Before I hit them up for $500, to upgrade a system that was being
moth-balled, I need it in print to justify the extra $100.00

BTW I know the numbering started over with Adrenaline. I was being the same
sarcastic prick I always am. I really thought it was a 12pm to 1pm (which is
really 1300) renumbering. I worked on Adrenaline 1.x and wanted to shoot
myself in the head.

I recommend buying the boxed upgrade for $495. This will include the
"Production Suite" which includes:

Boris Continuum Complete 6 (Mac and Windows)
Avid FX 5.8 (Mac and Windows)
Sorenson Squeeze 5 (Mac and Windows)
Avid DVD by Sonic 6 (Windows only)
SmartSound Sonicfire Pro 5 (Mac and Windows)

Well worth the extra $100.
