Steady on there Steve. Are you sure it's as basic as you say? The
Command Pallette only offers up to A9, and you can't tear the track
selector 'buttons' off the timeline and onto they keyboard in the same
way you would with, say, the Segment Mode button.
I frequently work with as many as 14 tracks, most of which I'm able to
toggle on or off with a keyboard shortcut. Not being able to toggle
past A9 with the keyboard really slows me down.
