and redigitze. Not perfect picture quality, but good, very simple,
and has the added advantage of not being technically illegal! [That's
because analog is not covered by DMCA]

P.S. If you really need them at 24p you'll have to reverse telecine
the resulting files as the player will add 3:2 pulldown.
