I offer:

On the Today Show, we had the really cool ability to transfer
sequences from Vancouver to NBC New York. Not just transfer the video
and audio mind you; the SEQUENCES themselves would become available to
an editor in New York, allowing additional editing to be done. This
is the first time I'd seen this capability. An editor in Vancouver
could start an edit; then changes or additions could be made to the
same sequence in New York. It was really neat. All the media,
effects, transitions, graphics, etc. could be transferred, similar to
a consolidation. I'm not really sure how it was done at the Vancouver
end.
