NAB's the time details like that would be announced. Shortly. But
right now, the 2 hardware generations are running nicely side by side.

Avid has done a helluva job keeping Adrenaline relevent in the new
software releases. That could be true for another year.

Maybe it's better to make the workflow/deadline argument, which is :
For faster editing, mixed CODECS and mutliple streams of HD, 1:1 HD,
full rez downconverts and crossconverts, you need the DX.

Or the economic argument :
The upgrade discounts are just too good to waste. We can leverage them
now and be more productive right away.

Or the competitive argument :
Kona 3s are kicking our ass, we need bigger guns!

Or the:
I GOTTA HAVE 3D AND DUAL-LINK SDI BEFORE EVERYONE ELSE GETS IT!! (Good
luck with that one)

Or you could just avoid lobbying at all:
Go in and unseat an adrenaline daughter card and watch the BOB go on
strike.
