[Avid-L2] Re: Edit Suite Mixer

The past 2 or 3 NABs I've looked for a digital version of a mackie or behringer but never found one. The Isis group/Graham Patten made the Sonarae which was an attempt to make a simple monitor with plenty of pushbuttons for the speaker matrix. It's got some nice features but in the end it was pretty expensive for the needs of a small bay. Still it wouldn't hurt to look at it. I liked that it has 16 real push buttons for the two stereo speakers so you can mult to your hearts content for basic monitoring of 16 channels. It also has it's own tone generator, what a concept, so you can trouble shoot the signal path a little easier than tying up your edit system for a tone generator.
