[Avid-L2] OT: Marital Blanking Problems?

In capturing my wife's demo reel I made the mistake of checking the blanking.  Some shots are in excess of 11.57 micro seconds.  The video clearly didn't come from the original edit masters.  So now how do I give my wife a failing QC report?  I could just blow it up and not say anything but where's the fun in that?  Does the FCC offer marriage counseling?  I guess I'll have to tell her the story about the blanking wars.  Or better yet maybe it's time to review SCH with her again.  She usually leaves the room when I get to the good part about 13 and a half subcarrier cycles from the trailing edge of sync, or was it the leading edge of sync?  At least the dog enjoys me sleeping on  the couch. ;-)
