[Avid-L2] Avid to Encore....

So I just mastered my first NTSC DVD in Encore.
I ran into several issues:
1: Encore could not see my QT Movie MXF sequence files digitized at 2:1. I
did not export reference files. In Avid I exported "same as source" to MXF
2:1. Why cannot Windows read that file? QT can.
2. I exported using the QT Animation codec and everything was fine.
3.Exported with format set to 601-709 formats. Once again lifted blacks.
Re-exported with 0-255 selected. Great blacks and thought all my problems
where over...
4. Exported using Lower Field first. Imported into Encore Lower Field first
and video was wrong field order. Re-transcoded into Encore Upper Field first
and video was fine.

I feel like a dummy. So what did I do wrong? Is this operator error on my
part?
