Re: [Avid-L2] Workflow help

Just make sure you get all the metadata - most importantly the reel
numbers and timecode. You can use EDL manager to generate a version
of CMX edl that has longer tape names, and SCRATCH can conform back to
the original .r3d files. It's really not that big of a deal. Just
like conforming back to film - easier. There are several other tools
you can use - depending on your version of software.

www.avid.com/red is usually pretty current.


That said, the person you should be talking to is the person who
will be making the 4k version. He/she can best tell you what they need.
