Re: [Avid-L2] Relink AMA

"Gee Dr., it hurts when I do this" ,.. :-)

There's an AMA log in the Fatal Error folder on your system. See what
it has to say.

AFAIK, restarting the app is the cleanest way to establish a relink. It
refreshes the mount point and should not make new clips.

There's an "always mount" AMA setting (2nd tab) that somewhat controls
the scanning behavior of the AMA volumes. This might help, but if the
mount point of the AMA material keeps changing, it will probably always
be confused by this.

If a sequence is involved, it's interesting to note that :
"If you relink a sequence and the bin that stores the AMA (Avid Media
Access) referenced clips is closed, the media does not relink. Before
you relink, open the bin of the referenced clips. For information on
AMA, see The Avid Media Access (AMA) Workflow."
