On older versions, prior to this built-in technique, you could run a Console
Command ... ³repairsequences².

Boy howdy. IIRC the newer MC releases have some kind of "dumb down"
compatibility function to allow better backwards travelage.

Hang on - let me login and launch...

Ahhh... there it is (and in MCSoft 3.1.3 so it's surely in later
releases):

1. Select (hilight) sequence in Bin.
2. Right-Click on Sequence Icon and select "Create Compatible Copy"
from teh popup menu.
3. See what the hell happens (I don't have any seqs that require
dumbing down, something the app will tell you if that's indeed the
case).
