Re: [Avid-L2] RE: Needed: Symphony Trainer

Why thank you Terry. Terry would be the other good suggestion, if he'd
do it.

I have done personal training on Symphony color correction for Turner
Networks in Atlanta (several times a year actually) and at Creative
Bubble in New York. I can provide references if you want.

I've been using Symphony's color correction since it was in beta...
what, over a decade ago? - and I have my own Symphony, so I use it
often, though I have to admit, that I haven't been using it as much as
Color lately. I miss the Color secondaries too much when I work in
Symphony.

(Five years ago - or maybe more - Greg Staten promised me at NAB that
the new color correction capabilities would blow me away in 18 months.
When he told me that I said "Wow. You're only going to be about two
years too late. Now they're SEVEN years too late. My how technology
time flies.

Have I talked myself out of a job yet?)

Anyway, I can usually train between 1 and 6 editors at a time in one
day of training. The fewer trainees the better for the editors.

And I'll even show you how Terry Curren uses curves!
