All of this makes me want to propose a different labeling.

How about:

Avid Import:

601/709 -> Maintain levels of the source file
RGB-> Remap source file levels to studio swing (16-235)

Avid Export

601/709 -> Maintain levels
RGB-> Remap levels to full swing (0-255)


QT Export:

601/709 -> Maintain levels of the source file
RGB-> Remap source file levels to studio swing (16-235)
