I recently got an HV 40 but I haven't yet captured from it in MC yet. When I saw your original post I did a search on this forum for HV series cameras I had recently found [ http://www.hv20.com/index.php ] but I didn't find anything conclusive. But maybe it would be worth posting your question there ? The forum might include a lot of non-professionals, but there might be at least a few who have used these cameras to capture with timecode in Avid...

I also did a google search and found a similar question on the Avid forums but again there seemed to be no real conclusive answer there...

If I find any more info I'll post it here.
