And I bet the producer in that video is a "Frame F-er" too!
Short Frame F-er story (and I am SURE you have ALL done this):
I'm editing a promo for recognizable cable company which shall remain
nameless.
The producer is not a collaborator and insists on telling me every move.
I place a 15 frame dissolve on a video transition.
She says, "How long is that dissolve?"
I say (without turning around), "15 frames."
Long pause . . .
She says, "Make it 14."
As I grit my teeth (and hoping she can't see my disdain in the
reflection of the NTSC Monitor), the following occurs:
I bang on the keys, eventually changing the duration to 14 frames.
I hit Enter . . .
I hit Command Z.
How's this I say . . . and I hit play.
"Oh, that's much better" she says.
Ahhhhh!! I hated working with her!
