I have a rather unorthodox XDCAM HD workflow. I want to exploit the soft import functionality of AMA in Avid. For that, I have to use XDCAM formatted folder structures (so that the Avid thinks that it has camera rushes connected to it). My goal is the take loads of QT files, transcode them and end up with XDCAM HD 422 50mbit files inside an XDCAM file structure with, if possible, XML metadata attached using a software. I have tried XDCAM clip browser, FCP and I get MXF files, but no structure. Is there a soft out there that emulates a XDCAM machine?
Many thanks
