Just play it back through the camera takes 10 seconds

We still call them Jerks in OZ.

My understanding of DVCam is no different in video quality to DV and
as far I know it runs at the same speed, it just handles the track
angle differently for editing reasons and provides better quality oxide.
There are LP tapes that are very thin that will not record standard DV
and DVCam data and I assume the speed remains the same but becomes LP
due to their increase length. Some DC cameras will not accept these
tapes as they require better engineering for the thinner tape.
In the past we have found that most data errors are due to that. I
would suggest you get your hands on the camera that shot the footage
and see if it plays. Those tapes are usually marked as being LP.

I have to say its a long time since I have dealt with DV issues, so
somebody might like to jump on who knows more about it than me. We
only have RED camera's now and they have a lot of different problems.
