no, you didn't miss anything - we have an aja fs1 that takes care of
those kind of things when going tape-to-tape. what finally worked was
the method that terence suggested (and which didn't work for me in mc
3.5 - i'm at 4.05 now) of dropping the raw mxf files from the p2 card
backup to my avid mxf folder and then bringing them in with the media
tool.
