And i like the AMA stuff, but that's not innovative, that's keeping up. if that makes you say Wow, great. to me, that's not anything more than another I/O function. just like adding OPenEXR to your export options. it's great to have it, but really, doesn't make me stand up and become an avangelist, or want to tell everyone about it... it's just not there.
Avid is like a sinking ship. handing out buckets to help bailout the water.. after we already have a bucket... "but this one is bigger, it's still round, and deep, but you can bail more water with this one.. yes. but we're still sinking.. doesn't matter, just keeping dumping out the water." instead of fixing the hole in the boat.
