Re: [Avid-L2] DX HDMI monitoring?

1. Consumer have a higher latency compared to professional monitors.
This is caused by the processing employed by the monitor (scaling, noise
reduction, color adjustments, etc). You can reduce it significantly with
some monitors by turning on the 'gaming' mode (down to 1-3 frames).
Computer monitors out of the box have but not necessarily 100% latency
free (1-2 frames).

I have the BN40B650 at home and love it.
