[Avid-L2] Re: Q logic SanBox 5600 16 port fibre switch?

Avid shows dropped frames in the console. I have to detach the fibre cable to boot up the computer, this is a known issue that hasn't been fixed. Some have suggested it might be the fibre card. It's a pretty large SanMP install so I don't have any clue about how it's been configured but I know the engineer is savvy and definitely has talked with the SNS folks about proper set up. I can only report the symptoms to him but any additional info to shed some light on the problem is helpful. It seems the switch component should not be an issue. Configuration or fibre card seem to be likely suspects. Or perhaps the infotrend drive array. Man my head is exceeding it's bandwidth can I please go back to linear now. ;-)
