I'll run a complete test on Sunday, but I'm pretty sure you saved my hands from a world of mouse pain...
taking it a little forward... assuming i added TC and Tapename to my clips, is there an app. that could cut my clips according to my sequence?
I'm thinking about something like this: decompose > ALE/AAF/EDL > creating QT of the needed sections only > batch importing the decomposed clips in Hi-rez.
