[Avid-L2] NITRIS DX SERIAL PORT

Is the serial port on the Nitris DX box used for machine control?

What cables are needed to make it work?

Avid just shipped me an HP z400 with NO serial port or cable kit, so the
choices are to use the Avid DX serial port or hook a USB/addenda kit up
to the PC.

Documentation on this subject is pathetic.. It's seriously cutting into
my Sunday HD football time.
