[Avid-L2] multiple fx layered on clips

I know you can lasso a group of clips and double click an effect and
it drops on each clip. But how do I do the same if I want to drop
another clip on all. For instance a color cc fx. I don't want them
all under one effect which is what happens when I hold the option
key. Of course if I don't hold down a key the second effect replaces
the first.
Possible?
