Re: [Avid-L2] Wacom Bamboo Multitouch

You know, at least drool can be removed, sanitized, etc. The worst was when someone passed off a tablet/pen setup that had ben used by a heavy smoker. The guy didn't smoke in the suite, obviously, but he oozed tobacco essence out of every pore, and the pen stank like hell. That was bad enough, but it made my hand stink like hell, and it was hard to get it off. I tried everything I could find, but nothing would remove the wretched odor from the pen itself. I finally begged The Powers to designate a tablet for this editor's exclusive use, and not let him touch any others.

I use to share an Editbox with a graphic artist that was an absolute germaphobe.
Sprayed then wiped down everything in every room before he did anything,
including the leather chairs. The pen in the mouth started just to drive him
crazier.

That's what your mouth is for. My pens spend lots of time in there.

Has anyone had a chance to try this with Media Composer? The only thing I don't

like about using a tablet is picking up and putting down the pen, or palming it
to type on the keyboard. It might be cool to just use only fingers instead.

Using swipes to scroll the timeline would be cool, but I don't know if that
capability would be automatic, or need to be built into the tablet driver.
