The EX1R is basically a somewhat-updated version of the EX1. A key new
feature: the CineAlta badge on the side of the camera (surprising to see
that branding used on a $6500 camera, but there you go). For general info

The EX1 camera shape/balance is a little awkward, but it produces nice pix
for the price. I assume the EX1R still produces nice pix and remains awkward
to handhold. With Avid, edit via AMA, or transcode to DNxHD...
