these things out!

Subject: [Avid-L2] OT; Need Encore help
Am still haveing trouble taking MPEG2 files into Encore and this is
driving me nuts -
Workflow - Avid, reference file, Squeeze - DVD Large, with top encoding
rate reset to 8000, and Iframes at 12.
When I take the video file into Encore, the last 10% of the file is
black. For example, my file is 4:02. Audio runs right to 4:02, but
video runs fast, to 3:50, and the last 10 seconds is black.
Files work fine when taken into Sonic Reel DVD - but that's on a very
old, slow machine, and everything needs to be moved across the network.
Duplicated this in CS3 on a PC, and CS4 on a Mac so it's obviously
something in the way I'm encoding in Squeeze or importing into Encore.
Any one have any idea what the heck I'm doing wrong? I've been fighting
with this for almost a month now, and can't find anything on line, and
come up blank in the various forums.
Thanks!
Mark
