RE: [Avid-L2] [OT] Guess who's popular with the kids?

It wasn't the dongle error. It did appear the crack was successful, but the
installation was a failure due to trying to run it on Windows 7. I'm
puzzled about why he decided to do a bittorrent tutorial on a program he had
never heard of. If he picked something at random, how did he come up with
Media Composer?

I didn't know about the Transformers 2 thing. Where is the giant robots
filter? I want to use that on my next project especially if it is anything
like the sheep wipe. I don't know why Boris never included one of those.

Yeah, I wondered about the dongle, but by then I was bored so I stopped
watching.
I agree with the hard time idea; is Avid likely to become aware of this, or
to do anything about it if they are? And do they read the damn list, or
should someone forward the link?

If you watch all the way through to the end, you realize that he
DOESN'T actually get "Ay-vid Media Composer" for free, because he
selected the dongled version and as soon as it gets through the
launch, the last dialog box he gets at the end of the "tutorial" says
(I think) "You don't have a dongle. Do you want to quit?"

The rest of the tutorial is pretty funny because he just keeps saying
"hit this, say OK." Hit WHAT, for God's sake?

I say Avid should take the kid to court for aiding and abetting and
let him spend some time in the prison population. "Hey kid, nice crack!"
