[Avid-L2] To AMA or not AMA P2?

Hi List! I'm about to begin a six episodes project shot on DVCPRO 50, that
it's going to be edited on MC 4.0.4 and maybe some of you can share your
experiences with me.
I haven't worked with AMA before and was wondering if that would be a
benefit for this project.
I'll edit in native resolution and will need to export AAF for sound post.
is that possible via AMA(AAF export)?

Another option I've though could be possible is to link via ama, add tape
name using original folder name as source, consolidate and work as usual.
