[Avid-L2] Re: Smoke on Mac Update

I can absolutely see a McSmoke as a nice add-on to a current Autoscreet shop. Infrastructure, trained artists, etc are all there. It will be interesting to watch and see if "garage band" McSmoke shops spring up and do all the work except the finish and output on these lower cost systems. That could certainly reduce revenue from the facilities that count on it all being done in-house. Just like low-cost/mobile FCP and Avid systems have done to the revenue of editorial facilities...should be fun to watch.
