output for 16:9 monitors and an HDMI DVD player for display at a
business. This is really my first big project where the animation
and media are from different software and media formats (4:3 and
16:9) into a final 16:9 video format.
My biggest issue is combining exported video from Motion and Live
Type into Avid and how to export it properly for display. (Monitor
size and sharpness) There are so many project display sizes (output
size and pixel options) for Motion and Live Type and I just want to
use what the "most common and consistent" for final proper display on
the 16:9 monitors. Nothing fancy.
When I looked at the first version of an outputted DVD on their
monitors, some of the videos looked soft and others were too big for
the screen. I've been using HDTV 720P for Motion and Live Type and
after seeing the
I am using 16:9 monitor display in Avid so for me they displayed
within safe framing. I'm being told that if it it looks good ion my
Avid monitors then outputting in Anamorphic should be fine.
Is this true or a little too simplistic?
I also have concerns about using consistent display and output
settings from Motion and LiveType export settings for importing into
Avid.
Can someone give me a "general rule of thumb" or point me to a place
where I can figure out the basics of what I need to know for the ins
and outs of 16:9 video?
Thanks,
