Re: [Bulk] Re: [Avid-L2] Re: BORDER on TITLE ??

Hello Barry,

Not on front of Avid right now.
But from feeble memory.
In marquee you can import several graphic files for composting without RAM
largess.
In Avid open Marquee Tile Tool.
Import your pic file.
Resize and position
(Handy if you have to import several logos to composite in one title say
for a sponsors' board.)
Select graphic.
In left hand menu select border tab(cylinder) adjust 3D thickness.
In menu choose to fill edge with gradient colour.
Better yet choose to fill the edging with the marquee sample penny pic but
choose reflective in options for a nice copper shine.
Turn on light in right hand tool menu and position for spot reflection.
Go to 3D position tool looks like a wire frame globe in tools menu) and
angle graphic to reflect light.
(You can animate light and position over time but that's another issue).
Save single frame Title to Avid bin.
The marquee frame saves as a Title clip to the time line.
Marque will still be open but be hidden by Avid program.
So hit tab key and remember to close Marque or you will have issues with
Avid not responding to your commands.
