When I went to Sony XDCAM-HD school in 2007 we where told no. The only way to recover deleted data off a XDCAM disc was to send the disc to Japan. We where also told it was a very expensive procedure and not a 100% guranteed recovery. Perhaps the tools have changed since my class. I would contact your Sony rep and start there.
