Currently plasmas use about 3 times the power of LCDs. There is nothing to drive manufacturers to innovate past that, they will just drop plasma and LCD will be the only option left. Get used to it. Grrrr!!!!

The only hope is hat this spurs OLED back to the forefront... . but some force I don't know about has been keeping that from us.
