It's H.264. It's 4:2:0. The last time I looked it was a pretty high bit rate for H.264 (somewhere above 26 mbit/sec)

What video format does this camera shoot? I believe framerates are 30, 24 and 25p but what is the compression? I was told h.264. Is this true and if so, is there another option?
