Stop motion has been doing stuff like this for quite a while. A few years
ago ³Corpse Bride² was shot on Canon EOS-1D bodies and Nikon lenses (through
some adapter). At least, that¹s what I recall reading.

All these tech shifts are pretty neato except when they¹re a PITA. I long
for days when ³clever technology² and ³half-baked product/workflow² aren¹t
spoken in the same breath.
