You don't HAVE to run it under Windows, but you sure can. Some issues with
DNA device, I think. I run MC software-only under Win Vista Business 64-bit
(which is approved). You could try Win 7, but it has not officially been
blessed.
I have Paragon NTFS for Mac installed on the Mac side of my MBP, and
MacDrive on the Vista side, so all drives and partitions are readily
available.
Also, if you buy a new one, there's a chance it is delivered with Snow
Leopard, which is not supported.
