Forgive me (I don't use FCP), but is that any different than Opt/Alt
with Copy to Clipboard in Avid?
I've mapped (added) the Option/Alt modifier to the Copy to Clipboard
button. With one button push the material in my timeline I've marked
is copied and appears instantly in my Source window, ready for me to
place it anywhere I'd like.
