That was introduced as a feature later in FCP, so if not 4 it was with
3, but I'm inclined to think it was introduced in V4 when they added
150 new features to FCP alone. (The latest studio release btw, has 100
features across all the apps, according to Apple PR).

I think that's a matter of personal preference? It was certainly a
