Perhaps I should just point to pages 12 and 13 of the Avid Step-by-
stop guide for RED workflows and you can tell me what is not actually
accurate? Or incomplete.
I make no pretense to know this workflow, just learning it now, so I
have to rely on the official workflows, at least as a starting point.
As presented by Avid, all MC/RED/DS workflows in that guide are more
complex than Apple's or Adobe's workflows for their applications,
which can finish native REDcode without conversion. Nearest
equivalent would be an all-DS workflow as Tony indicated. That's not
exactly price-competitive though. :)
