Re: [Avid-L2] higher math - 24p to 1080i via DVC PRO HD

You have 2 options

Set the deck to 59/60 Sys Freq and 720 -> 1080 and you will get a
1080i/59.94 via 2:3 pulldown (Standard).

Set the deck to 23/24 Sys Freq and 720 -> 1080 and you will get
1080/23.98PsF.

And regarding layoff - I have never done it but it sounds find assuming
your tape's master TC lines up as well (meaning 00:00 = A Frame).
Some one can confirm or correct me on this.
