What about when the tape op took your D-2 or D-3 record machine into local and without knowing it disabled Preread so your next edit on layer 12 became feedback. Cut to 4:00am Barcelona time on the "Fubar (nick name)" edit truck and I lost my last hours work in the blink of a preread. I cleared the truck and got it all back in 15 minutes. Man that was a good time.
