[Avid-L2] Re: Rookie TC question

Why wouldn't you start on 1;00;00;00? This is why the linear editors gave you a choice of starting at ;28 or ;02 on the drop frame minutes that skip :00 AND ;01. It was always my preference to round down to ;28. Then a ten second spot would end at ;10;00. To answer your question it would end at 1;00;30;02 if you started at 1;00;00;02. Normally on minutes other than 10's I start at 1;00;59;28 for example then your outs EDL style will end in ;00s.
