[Avid-L2] Marquee anyone?

Hi I saw this post and no was able to answer this? Anyone have any info on this or how to sort this out. It seem Marquee's manual has not been updated in about 5 years from the looks of things or maybe this is just the program, anyway here it is.

In Marquee Stand-alone, I could create a 10 second project,
and later re-time it to 5 or 15 seconds while specifying
that my keyframes would either be cropped or scaled to the
new duration.

Running Marquee as a plug-in, I'm not sure how to accomplish
the same result, as the menu setting which was available in
stand-alone mode isn't available when running as a plug-in.

I'm guessing the problem originates in that changing the
duration of the timeline within Marquee means changing the
length of the effect clip in the host. If I change the
lenth of the effect in the host (Illusion, but I suspect it
may be the same in Symphony?), the keyframes in my Marquee
timeline are scaled, when I want them to be cropped.

Any suggestions on how to do this, without having to
reposition my keyframes for each object within Marquee?

How do other plug-ins which utilize their own timeline, like
Boris, deal with changing the length of the clip?

thanks Jason
