[Avid-L2] Re: MC 2.8.4 upgrade q

The $395 gets one from 2.8.4 to 4 -- but will one then get a free
update when Avid releases a version that will RUN under 10.6?
Logically, Avid should not charge a customer for their business need
to sell products that run under "current" Apple OS, but who knows.
Also, anyone have any idea when 10.6 might be supported? At Mac World
I suspect Apple will introduce a bunch of 10.6 only apps and it's
going to be harder to stay with 10.5!
