[Avid-L2] Adrenaline on a MacPro

I am working at a company that is now ALL FCP. But before that they had
two Avids, one MC and another ADRENALINE. But they had issues with the
Adrenaline, first the HD card died, then the machine started going
south. But they made the switch to FCP so they just threw things into a
closet.

Now a project hit our door that the network deliverables require Avid DS
project files and media. PERIOD. So I got to wondering, sure, the
computer has gone south, but I have the Adrenaline box and the cards,
and the MacPros can boot to Windows (via Bootcamp or similar). Now the
big question is...can I install the Avid hardware into my MacPro, have a
separate boot drive with Windows XP Professional edition and the Avid
Adrenaline software, so that we can at least capture the material, then
send to a DS shop?

or am I smoking crack?
