One break through I had a while back with Titler+ is that when promoting classic title tool I had to be in an HD format which it will prompt you to do IIRC.  The quirk was if I promoted one title to Titler+ then toggled to 4K format to check it when I went back to HD format to promote other titles the promoted titles would be blank.  If I restarted the project then it would work.  Through trial and error I decided that I had to promote all the titles to Titler+ before switching the project format to 4K or UHD.  This was on flavors of 2018.x  Probably 2018.12.15 so maybe the more modern Avid versions don't exhibit this quirk.
