I guess the core of my question is how the aja control panel settings are designed.  If I choose 2084 600 Nits in the aja control panel while feeding 1000 Nits from the DNxIO Resolve output to the Hi5 HDMI converter is the aja Hi5 4K Plus going to tone map the HDMI output to 600 Nits.

Also I'm not sure what you mean by the Resolve Dolby timeline (SDI 2)?  Is there a difference between SDI 1 and SDI 2 on my DNxIO outputs.  I found while setting up  the fake stereo project to spit HDR out one eye and SDR out the other eye that the DNxIO outputs were not top row vs bottom row but spigot 1 was left eye and spigot 2 was right eye when in HD mode. 

So many little details along the way that seem like they should be much more straight forward but that's probably my lack of experience in this arena.
