[Avid-L2] Re: Hitting Enter on extra keypad While in Color Correction turns on Audio Scrub?

Following up with something that may be related but I'm not sure.  Today I noticed that while running Avid 8.5.2 with caps lock off if I go to the desktop on mac os 10.9.5 by either clicking or cmd tabing etc.... when I go back to Avid the caps lock is lit.  Toggling back to desktop caps lock is off go back to Avid caps lock is lit.  Turn the caps lock off while in avid and no scrub audio toggle to desktop and back and caps lock is on and audio scrub is active.  I tried on another system and it doesn't behave this way.

I do have a background render going so I don't know if that has any effect on this behavior. I have an older wacom and extra numeric keypad which as posted seems to turn on audio scrub when I hit enter on it although the caps lock lit does not light when that happens.  So a get audio scrub after hitting the enter on the additional numeric keypad but no caps lock light.  Then if I hit caps lock once it lights and I still have audio scrub.  If I hit caps lock a second time it goes dark and audio scrub is off.

Very odd behavior and annoying because I hate hearing the audio chirping while I'm scrubbing during color correction.

I just started working on my current 4K project in color correction.  Things are working normally with one quirky exception.  I use a wacom tablet combined with a Kensington Expert mouse trackball and an additional numeric keypad that I set on the wacom tablet next to the trackball.  I enter a lot of values numerically and the extra keypad closer to my tablet speeds things up.

What I noticed is that after I type in a numeric value on the addition keypad and hit enter then audio scrub turns on as I drag along the timeline while in color correction mode.  Caps Lock is not on.  If I bounce out of CC mode there is no scrubbing audio and when a change back to CC mode there is no scrubing audio until I hit "enter" on the keypad.  If I type the numbers on the keypad but hit enter on the main mac keyboard the audio scrub does not turn on.  I don't even have to be entering numbers.  Just hitting enter on the keypad turns on audio scrub and it doesn't shut of until a bounce out of CC mode.  Weird.  I've been using this setup with differing wacom pads and different numeric keypads for several years but never encountered this until now.

Just one more thing in my never ending battles with technology the last few weeks.
