Re: [Avid-L2] sift selected

 

1. Open the command palette.

2. Open your keyboard setting.

3. Check "Menu to Button Reassignment" at the bottom of the command palette.

4. Click on the key on the keyboard settings you want to assign Custom Sift to.

5. Go to the Bin menu and select Custom Sift.

Custom Sift should now be assigned to the key you selected in step 4.

This is what I wrote then and I'm sticking to it :)

Not sure what you are seeing, but when I have the Media Tool open, in the Bin menu I see "Sift Selected Items"  

Note:  This is contextual. It only appears if you actually have items selected.
